Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Developer with deep expertise in both the MERN stack and React Native. This is a remote role supporting a USA-based client, offering flexible work hours and strong long-term engagement potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Build and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using React Native (iOS & Android)
- Write clean, maintainable, and strongly typed code using TypeScript
- Design and implement backend services using NestJS
- Develop and integrate GraphQL and RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver efficient and reusable solutions
- Integrate third-party APIs and backend services
- Troubleshoot, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed
- Ensure application quality, responsiveness, and reliability

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Solid experience in React Native development
- Proficiency in TypeScript (frontend & backend)
- Hands-on experience with NestJS
- Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud services
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
- Knowledge of Firebase, Redux, or similar tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills across distributed teams
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with microservices and scalable architecture
- Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and serverless frameworks
- Knowledge of performance optimization (React & React Native)
- Understanding of security best practices (authentication, data protection)
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.)
- Agile/Scrum methodology exposure
- Experience in mentoring or collaborative team environments
- Exposure to production-scale applications
